State Senator, District 26

Republican incumbent: Phil Berger, Sr.

Senator Berger is conservative and supports conservative values like personal responsibility, property rights of individuals and the sanctity of life. He believes in controlling spending to what is affordable, and legislating with ethical laws in compliance with the state constitution and the U.S. Constitution.

District Attorney

Phil Berger is an attorney for the community elected by the people in their district to represent the interests of the general public. Other duties include assisting victims of crime and handling in court proceedings against people accused of committing crimes.

Democratic Incumbent: Mark Pegram

Mark is an elected Clerk of Superior Court. A Rockingham County native, the Honorable J. Mark Pegram was elected Clerk of Superior Court for Rockingham County in September, 2002, and took office on December 2, 2002. He has been involved in the justice system for 21 years.
